
By the time she was fifteen, Alexis Baliotis had already achieved First Place in the Saugus Rotary Art Show in Saugus, MA and was awarded a Gold Key for her portfolio in the Scholastics Art Awards in Boston. Alexis taught at Acorn Gallery School of Art in Marblehead, Massachusetts, for four years before moving to Connecticut to earn her BFA at The Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, where she studied painting and printmaking. At age twenty, she apprenticed under Master Printer, James Reed, at Milestone Graphics in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In 2009, Alexis returned to Marblehead, where she currently resides, to become a co-owner of The Acorn Gallery School of Art. In September 2010 she exhibited her first solo show at the Marblehead Arts Association, and has been exhibiting in the greater Boston area.
