Léa just finished her Bachelor degree with a 1rst prize unanimously in Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Paris in the class of Sabine Toutain. She is now in Erasmus exchange in Haute Ecole de Musique de Geneve with Nobuko Imai as a master student.
She also won 1st Prize unanimously with the congratulations of the jury in the CRR of Paris in 2008, 1st Prize 'as excellent' with congratulations unanimously and the 2010 SACEM Prize in the European Competition for Young Soloists in Luxembourg, 3rd Prize in Marschner International Competition in Germany. In 2010 and she was also awarded by Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe. In 2007 she won 2nd Prize in the National Youth Viola Competition and in 2006 2nd Prize in the UFAM Competition.
Her interest for chamber music lead her to play in the Festival Off “Les Vacances de Mr Haydn” (France),”Norwegian Youth Chamber Music Festival” (Norway), “connaissance des jeunes interpretes” (France), "Festival de Pâques de Deauville" (France), EMCY « stars of tomorow » tour 2011 (Germany), “ La musique des siècle “ (France), “ Les nuits du mont Rome “ (France), “ Salon musical Michelin “(Paris), “ Le Printemps d’Euterpe “ (Paris), “ Musique en Monument “ (France), “ Piano Campus “ (Paris), "les musicales de Grillon" (France)… .She also performed two recitals in "Grieg in Bergen Festival" (Norway)
Lea was selected to participate in prestigious events such as « Kronberg academy » (germany,« mit musik Miteinander »), « IMS Prussia Cove » (UK) 'Aurora Chamber Music Festival' (Sweden) or 'Encuentro de Santander' (Spain), which also lead her to perform in recital.
Her chamber music partner was, among other, Midori, Lars Anders Tomter, Torleif Theden, Svetlin roussev, Marco Rizzi, Claudio Bohorquez, Yura Lee, Yan Levionnois...
In 2012, she will have recital in "Jeune Talent" Festival in Paris and Renaud Capuçon invited her to perform in his new Festival de Pâques d’Aix en Provence as a « new generation » musician in april 2013.
She took part of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France’s academy for 2010/2011, which enables her to play under Lawrence Foster, Manfred Honeck and Xian Zhang. She also appeared with the orchestra national of France, l'orchestre de chambre de la nouvelle europe, I'nternational Institute of Attergau Orchestra under Jordi Savall at the Salzburg Festival in 2008, Ensemble of Young Virtuosi, Orchestre du Conservatoire de Paris under Yutaka Sado and Jean Deroyer, the Orquesta Sinfonica de Santander under Peter Csaba and Zoltan Kocsis. She has performed in venues such as Salle Pleyel, Cité de la Musique, Radio France, the Festspielhaus in Salzburg (Austria) etc.
Léa has participated in master classes with Lawrence Power, Nobuko Imai, Lars Anders Tomter, Veronika Hagen, Tatjana Mazurenko, Jean Sulem, Diemut Poppen, Garth Knox and master classes in chamber music with Vienna Artis Quartet, Hatto Beyerle, Lyda Chen-Arguerich, Bruno Pasquier, Peter Cropper, Stephan Picard, Richard Young and Marc Coppey. She is also very interested in contemporary music, worked and performed with violist Christopher Desjardin and the French composer Philippe Hersant and Robert Pascal. Lea has also performed a piece of a Graziani Finzi in 2010.
She currently plays french viola by Chappuy made around 1780 in Paris.
