Former US President Barack Obama said in his new book that Pakistan completely ignored the campaign to assassinate Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden because he knew that a faction in the Pakistani military had ties to Al-Qaeda, Huh.
Obama revealed this in his new book called “A Promised Land”. This allegation by the former US President strengthens the side of India and Afghanistan that Pakistan has accused of resorting to terrorist activities to implement its strategies.
Obama said in his book that Pakistan had not received any information about the campaign to kill Osama bin Laden. He has said the campaign could have failed if information had been given. He gave brief information about the campaign to kill Osama bin Laden, hidden in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
Obama said he rejected the proposal to include Pakistan in this campaign because he knew that a faction in the Pakistani military had close ties with al-Qaeda and the Taliban.
According to the book, the Pakistani military and intelligence services used terrorist groups against India and Afghanistan.
