A UK trust has written a letter to Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Johnson to “rescue” the Indian Navy’s serving aircraft carrier, Virat, ahead of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s possible visit as the main guest of the Republic Day celebrations.
Virat served in the Royal Navy. According to NDTV, the letter said that the process of turning Virat into trash in Alang, Gujarat would begin anytime Prime Minister Narendra Modi didn’t help.
In a letter to the two leaders, the Hermes Heritage Virat Heritage Trust wrote that India should send this 23,900-ton warship back to Britain if efforts to establish a maritime museum fail. The letter says: “In this case of trust, quotes also come from towing professionals who were set up in India to transport the warship from Mumbai to Great Britain. ‘
According to the letter, the Trust will build a world-class maritime museum just outside Liverpool city center if allowed.
It is noteworthy that the Trust is currently working with its Indian partner NVTech in an attempt to convert Virat off the coast of Goa into a maritime museum.https://loshijosdelamalinche.com/
