The UK is the first country to approve the use of the Pfizer-BioNtech Covid-19 vaccine

The UK on Wednesday granted temporary approval for the emergency use of Pfizer-BioNtech’s corona vaccine. This makes the UK the first country in the world to grant such a permit.

The pharmaceutical company issued a statement that Pfizer and BioNotech are expected to make regulatory decisions on this matter worldwide in the coming days and weeks and are ready to ship the vaccine additives upon possible regulatory approval or approval.

Pfizer President and Chief Executive Officer Albert Borla said the emergency response permitted in the UK today marks a “historic moment” in the fight against the Kovid-19.

He said this approval is a goal we’ve been working on since we first announced that science was going to win. We appreciate the MHRA’s ability to carefully evaluate them and take timely action to protect the UK population.
